Michael is a researcher, working on investigations and advocacy at Open Secrets, an independent non-profit with a mission to promote private sector accountability for economic crime and related human rights violations in Southern Africa. He holds an MSc Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh. His research interests include economic crime, political party funding and issues around illicit financial flows.
